Because kidney disease is a complex medical condition that requires strict, individualized management, we cannot recommend our food for cats already diagnosed with CKD. Please consult your veterinarian directly and strictly follow their prescribed dietary plan.
Transitioning Takes Patience! Certain brands of cat food (including both dry and wet foods) use strong artificial flavorings, which can make cats hesitant to try new, natural foods. If you are determined to transition your cat to Giant Meow’s healthy, MSG-free, and attractant-free diet, please allow 1 to 2 weeks for a slow transition. Start by mixing a tiny spoonful of our wet food into their current meal. Pro Tips for Picky Eaters: Warm it up: Slightly warm the wet food to release its natural meaty aroma. Kibble topping: Sprinkle some of their favorite crushed kibble on top to entice them. ⚠️ Important: Never starve a cat to force a diet change!
